Our wedding party consisted of 7 bridesmaids and 1 junior bridesmaid (my goddaughter) who wore silky full-length, deep plum Monique Lhullier gowns paired with all-down, curly, flowing, romantic hairstyles and oversized blush pink garden-rose bouquets. A fact we still find funny, since my parents also dated for ten years before getting married and we swore we’d never wait that long! Note: Andy and I were high school sweethearts and dated for almost ten years before tying the knot. My dress was a huge, classic ivory ball gown from The White Dress By The Shore in Clinton. It was a gorgeous, temperate breezy-beautiful day uncharacteristic of late October, and the first in a long string of dreary, drizzly storms the week prior.Īfter a lovely, warm rehearsal dinner at The Ginger Man on Greenwich Avenue the night before, we woke early from our comfortable suites at The Greenwich Hyatt to start getting ready for the main event.
